Professional Statement
Dr. Sarah Conrad is a specialist in Obstetrics and Gynecology with a focus on women living with HIV and also women recovering from substance use disorder. She practices full scope obstetrics and gynecology and works in the clinic, in the operating room and on Labor and Delivery. She has current teaching responsibilities for medical and physician assistant students as well as direct supervision for residents. She is also subgroup leader for BCM OB/GYN Quality and Safety committee as well as lead for the Enhancing HIV Care Preconception Care Quality Improvement committee. Dr. Conrad has been awarded Society for Academic Specialists in General Obstetrics and Gynecology Faculty Award (as a resident in 2021 and for faculty excellence in Academic General OB/GYN in 2024), the CREOG National Faculty Award for Excellence in Resident Education in 2024 (resident-chosen for best teaching faculty during the academic year) and was previously an Academic Administrative Chief Resident in her residency program. She is passionate about teaching learners aspiring to become obstetricians and educating her patients so they can make informed decisions regarding their care.
